Thank you so much Lisa for the vintage postcards. They're gorgeous, I love them! Aside of the workshop projects, they are a great complement worth the cost. I think I'll use them for some cards. The scans are high quality, so the prints are perfect.

I also loved the links you gave before the workshop beginning!

Glad you like them…. their are many more yet to come!

Hi Lisa,

Well, still no luck viewing the PDF.  I tried downloading both applications and still nothing.  Don't know if this may be an issue, but I'm a Mac user.  I even tried using a different browser (Firefox), but still no go.  Do you have any more suggestions?  I may have to drag hubby in on this to see if he can help out.  That's usually my last resort, though!Laugh

Glad we finally got ya fixed up Carla. Have fun with the images. I love them.

Hi Lisa,

I just joined the group a few days ago, and still learning to navigate around the site.  I seem to be having trouble opening the PDF file.  When I click on the link, I get a blank screen.  Am I doing something wrong?

TIA for help,

Carla

Carla please go to the files section… tab is located in the top right section of the website… there you will find instructions to view the PDF if you are having trouble. Let me know if it still does not work for you after using Foxit Reader.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I still think they will be gorgeous as is. I found the sweetest little use for them in an etsy shop. I love how she made them into cupcake picks.

Hi Lisa,

I tried to open this with my photo editing software to select on and make it larger like a postcard (instead of the ATC size they are) but the pdf is secured and requires a password. Do you mean for us to use them as is and not be able to make them postcard size or am I doing something wrong?

Shelley

Hi Shelley, we have it set to use the cards as is. You aren't doing anything wrong.

Below is a link to a few vintage postcards from my personal stash. Just click on the link, then click on open pdf. There you will find 7 images for you to use.

I love to use postcards as accents in projects or stick them here and there around the house as decorations. They look cute tucked in the side of a frame or mirror, they make sweet tags to adorn a Valentine treat and strung together using baker's twine or seam binding will make a simple garland as in bygone days.

I'm sure you will come up with some wonderful ideas which I can't wait to see. Don't forget to post your projects in the gallery as I will be giving away a RAK containing some wonderful Maya Road goodies… my little Cupid (Santa has a side job) will be picking out a winner on the 31st.
